Yves Lahey

Yves Lahey is from Quebec City. He has always shown a particular interest in Contemporary Arts. After his studies at the Beaux-Arts, he settled permanently in Montreal.

 

Throughout his career, he was invited to participate in many exhibitions or meetings: At the Théatre du Balcon, at the invitation of Mr. Serge Barbuscia, who, within the framework of the Festival International de Théatre d'Avignon, offered him a exhibit his most recent creations. participated in the Rencontres Internationales d'Art Contemporain in Pau and Auch, in 1994 and 1995. Subsequently, he was invited to exhibit his latest works at Collectania du Louvre des Antiquaires and at the Galerie Claudine Lustman in Paris, France.

 

In the summer of 1997, he occupied the 24 windows of Henry Birks et Fils, just for the pleasure of passers-by!

He exhibited several times in Toronto, New York and in Montreal, where he was represented by Galerie Noctuelle. In 2004, thanks to the invitation of the Canadian Embassy, he was able to present his recent achievements in Hong Kong in 2004!

On several occasions, Yves has designed corporate folders to pay tribute to the Maisons de Jeunes, the Conseil du loisirscientifique, the Centers de la petite enfance, the organization Bâtir son Quartier, etc.

​

Developed some corporate projects for Les Ateliers d’Art Bellemare.

 

Following a one-year stay in Gigondas in Vaucluse, France, Yves joined forces with Mr. J.B. Meunier, to design and dress the three new wine labels Du Moulin de la Gardette de Gigondas, known as vin de grand believed!

 

The launch of the new Gardette labels in Quebec was accompanied by an exhibition at Simon Blais in the summer of 1992.

Finally, since 2018, Yves has discovered the digital world and has become his main source of inspiration and work!
